How to replace screen on Acer Predator 15 Model: G9-593
Shut down the lapptop
To begin shut down the laptop and disconnect this power cord
Remove the bezel
Now we can remove the bezel. Start from the top side gently pulling the inner edge of the plastic
away from the LCD. Once the edges unsnapped move around the perimeter releasing all four sides.
Set the bezel aside
Remove four Phillips screws
Now we have access to the LCD panel. Remove the four Phillips screws holding the screen in place,
one screw in each corner
Disconnect the video cable
Place the LCD on the keyboard and using both hands gently peel off the tape securing the video
connector. Disconnect the cable. Discard the old panel
Connect the new screen
Take the new LCD and place it on the keyboard. Using both hands reconnect the video cable.
Secure it with tape. Caution it is very important not to force any of the connectors as well you
must not twist or slant the video connector when plugging it in
Test the new screen
Make sure that the video cable is in the right position and lift the screen up aligning it with its
mounting holes. Turn the laptop on to test if the screen is working. Press and hold the power
button to shut down the laptop again
Replace Phillips screws
Replace four Phillips screws one in each corner
Replace the bezel
Press firmly at the bottom corners and then go around the perimeter snapping
the tabs back in place. Use one hand to hold the top cover while snapping the tabs
near the hinge. Reconnect the power cord turn the laptop on and we're done!
